I served as the Lead Game Designer, UI/UX Designer, Motion/Graphic Designer, Combat Designer, and Quality Assurance for this project. The majority of the game mechanics were developed within a 3-month period.
Firesky is a story-driven, fighter RPG with card collection and a robust multiplayer, featuring deep lore and a massive cast of characters. The multiverse is controlled by a group of feuding gods, who are settling their differences using Guardians, an elite fighting force trained to execute the will of their masters. Firesky spans 9 seasons of story, where each season unveils a new group of characters and stories that reveal the origins of the Universe.
FIRESKY's core gameplay loop revolves around a progression system integrating battles, gear optimization, and marketplace interactions. Battle engagements generate a time-based currency that represents player investment and cannot be purchased with real money. While premium players can access certain early advantages, all players—regardless of payment status—must invest gameplay time to advance their character progression. This design ensures that both premium and free-to-play users ultimately compete on an equitable playing field as they reach higher progression tiers.

The Combat System revolves around the delicate balance of attack types, stamina management, and precise dodge timing. Layered atop this core combat system are the Shield and God Power mechanics, enhancing both depth and challenge.
Each battle is designed to conclude within 90 seconds, with God Power accelerating combat while Shields extend engagements. The three key progression systems—Characters, Weapons, and Gems—directly influence player choices, shaping strategic approaches.
Additionally, the Transmutation and Leveling systems allow players to enhance equipment, increasing power or reducing cooldowns. Progression is driven by either advancing through levels or acquiring superior gear, ultimately enabling players to maximize efficiency in earning rewards.
